Afan Nedd supports mini rugby in the following age groups:-

Under 7
Under 8
Under 9
Under 10
Under11

The under 7’s is a new agee group brought in for the 2008/09 season with two aims.

1. to allow younger players to play against their own age group

2. To lift the heavy burden of large squads of players spread over a couple of school years all trying to get into a team with low participation numbers on the pitch at any given time.

Mini players can be registered with the WRU once they are 6 yrs old. No registration applications will be accepted below this age.

The registration card stays with them until they get to Under 12 age, when they move from mini to junior level and must be re-registered using the red registration forms.

Players after U11 age season is over, can move to any club without the need for transfer forms etc.
