The WRU are attempting some initiatives in order to get a full attendance at the Wales v South Africa fixture on Saturday June 5th, 2.30pm kick off at the Millennium Stadium; some details are highlighted below for those who may be interested in attending:

• Tickets start from £25 per person
• There is a family ticket available which is £80 for 2 adults and 2 children
• People can buy tickets from a number of outlets, these are…Ticketmaster website, or by calling them on 08442 777888, personal callers to the WRU Cardiff Arms Store at 8 Westgate Street, or Ticketline also on Westgate Street.
• South Africa have guaranteed that they will bring their strongest side available to play
• Wales fly out to New Zealand on their summer tour straight after this fixture
• For Wales to win the World Cup they need to be playing the best teams in the world, with South Africa being World Champions and also in their group in the World Cup this is a great start. 

Specific offers are available to junior clubs and schools if you bring a group of 18 or more, purchasing £25 tickets you can take advantage of a buy 6 get 2 free rate. Both teams will change at RTB and then one will make the short walk to Ebbw Vale for their match with Gwent while the other team plays at RTB. Food will be available for the players at RTB following the matches.

If possible please try and arrive at 2.30pm on Wednesday 14th April at Llandarcy Academy of Sport for a 3pm start. Those who cannot make it at 2.30pm don’t worry arrive when you had planned and Andrew and Adrian will fit you into the session. The session will start inside but will hopefully end with a slot on the grass outside.

On Friday 16th we have two fixtures one with Caerphilly and the other with Gwent (6pm and 7.15pm kick off); as of yet they haven’t confirmed the venue, hopefully we’ll be able to let you know at the Llandarcy session.

The last meeting of the season will be held on May 10th in Neath RFC at 6.30pm

This meeting will be your chance to go through next seaons cup rules and have any rules changed or altered to make the running of the cup more simpler and as you the clubs want it.

The current rules are here to download . if you want to make proposals for changes to any of the rules can you please email them to andrew or chris at least 7 days before the meeting, to allow us to prepare the proposals.

Also it will be your last chance to get the registration form ready to register your team and collect the affiliation forms ready for the August 30th registration and cup entry deadline. No registrationand squad  sheets back by Aug 30 then you will not be entered into the cup.

The following finals will all be played at llandarcy Academy of Sport on Sunday 18th and Sunday the 25th of april.

The district under 13 squad will take part in a training session with their coaches at Llandarcy Academy of Sport on Wednesday 14th April. The session will be observed by a delegation from Indonisea, UNICEF and the British Council; it is part of a policy to link areas in Britian with other parts of the World in the build up to the London Olympics.

Players will need to arrive at Llandarcy at 3pm for a session that will start at 3.15pm and finish at 4.30pm. You will need to bring both indoor and outdoor kit because it is uncertain as to whether the session will be indoors or outdoors.

It is a timely session as I have booked a double header fixture with Cardiff for Friday 16th April; as of yet we don’t know the arrangements, as soon as I do they will be posted on the website.

As this is such a high profile event it is essential that you let myself (07740612791), Andrew (07814781015) or Adrian (07974156583) know if you are not available to attend. Also if you have a problem with the fixture on the 16th let one of us know.
