I would like to take this opportunity to wish all volunteers a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year in appreciation of your committment to junior rugby in the Afan Nedd District. To any young player reading this you need to realise that without these volunteers (which includes your parents, grandparents, guardians, referees, coaches, 1st aiders, etc,) there wouldn’t be junior rugby in our clubs and districts.  Therefore make sure that you always show them your appreciation and in particular at this time of year.

Because of the unavailability of players through injury and holidays, it has been decided to postpone the training that was scheduled for Monday 29th and the match with Pembroke on Tuesday 30th December. 

A new date for training and rescheduling of the match will be carried out in early January.

Because of the poor condition of the pitches at Aberavon Green Stars RFC the fixtures at under 12’s and 14’s against Swansea have been changed to the Western Avenue playing fields. It is hoped to kick off both the under 12 games at 10am and the under 14’s at 11am. Under 12 players need to arrive at 9.15am and the under 14’s at 10am. 

The Western Avenue playing fields are situated on Seaway Parade, Port Talbot (there is no post code). They are the playing fields of Sandfields Comprehensive School (SA12 7AH).
